Welcome to the Mollard Guest house.

A 1920’s Bungalow of about 1400 sq. feet, it is in a residential neighborhood in a private setting near the center of town close to a pretty park for walking.

The home has been the residence of many happy people. The original owner, Harry Richards, was a Civic Leader responsible for the widening of Crockett Rd. (A major feat in the 1930’s and a very welcome addition to our city.) He convinced his neighbors to donate their front yards for the growth of the City. He was a mayor and city councilman during the 20's and 30's.

Over the years, the home, like so many older homes in Palestine, has seen the lives of so many families pass through it's doors. The home has been changed, painted, patched, carpeted and uncarpeted. Yet, the home remains and the names of its occupants are long forgotten. But, we have heard that many of the occupants lived here briefly and left for wonderful opportunities. They moved to new homes and found new careers and better jobs. All in all, it seemed for a number of years that a stay at 508 Crockett Rd. insured good luck in ones wealth and career.

We hope you, too, will find it a lucky place to stay. Let us know if you win the lottery!!
